2 to 3 weeks.
Belotero Volume device properties
Belotero Volume is a colorless, non-pyrogenic injectable gel consisting of a cross-linked hyaluronic acid of
non-animal origin. This synthetic origin reduces the risk of rejection by patients with several allergies.
If the procedure requires pain reduction, there is also a version of
Belotero Volume with lidocaine available, as well as of every other Belotero product.
Belotero Volume side effects
Usually many kinds of discomfort appear after the injection. These include swelling, bruising, tenderness and redness of the treated area. Gladly, these side effects are
temporary and shouldn’t last for longer than 7 days.
The procedure requires no recovery time - patients can perform normal daily activities right after the injection.
Nevertheless, it is recommended for patients to avoid extensive sun exposure as well as cosmetic procedures in the treated area for a few days following the injection.
