Description

Buy Stylage L, a specialised hyaluronic acid dermal filler designed to correct deep and severe wrinkles and folds. This gel is uniquely formulated for long-lasting results, with the antioxidant mannitol protecting the hyaluronic acid particles from damage and extending their effectiveness. Stylage L adds volume to instantly smooth out deep wrinkles, delivering a refreshed and youthful appearance.

What Is Stylage L?

Stylage L is a cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel with a non-animal origin, enriched with the antioxidant mannitol. It is sterile, apyrogenic, and has a physiological pH and osmolarity. Designed for deep dermal injection, it addresses deep to very deep wrinkles and volume loss in areas like the cheeks, facial contours, and cheekbones.

Formulated with 24 mg/g of highly cross-linked hyaluronic acid using Vivacy’s patented IPN-Like Technology, Stylage L provides enhanced density and durability. When injected into the deep dermis, it fills and smooths deep wrinkles and facial folds while promoting collagen production. The included antioxidant mannitol protects the hyaluronic acid from free radical damage, extending its effectiveness and ensuring longer-lasting results. Due to HA, it will be slowly resorbed over time.

What Is the Difference Between Stylage M and L?

Stylage M has a concentration of 20 mg/g and is designed for injection into the mid to deep dermis, providing effective volume and wrinkle correction in these layers.

Stylage L has a higher concentration of 24 mg/g and is intended for injection into the deep to very deep dermis, offering enhanced volume restoration and correction for more pronounced wrinkles.

Both fillers provide results that typically last between 6-12 months.

Is Stylage Better than Juvederm?

Stylage and Juvederm are both injectable dermal fillers composed of cross-linked hyaluronic acid that address various aesthetic concerns, and both offer options with lidocaine for enhanced comfort.

The key difference between these injectables is that Stylage fillers include antioxidants, which protect the filler from damage by free radicals and enhance its longevity.

Stylage also uses IPN-Like Technology for cross-linking hyaluronic acid with minimal BDDE, whereas Juvederm employs Vycross Technology, which combines low and high molecular weight hyaluronic acids, or Hyalacross Technology for a smoother consistency.

What Is Stylage L Used For?

Since Stylage L is intended to be injected into the deep dermis, it’s ideal for treating deep and severe facial lines (including nasolabial folds and marionette lines), as well as for facial volume restoration (such as in the cheeks, facial contours, and cheekbones). Additionally, it’s also effective for hand rejuvenation, addressing volume loss and signs of aging or photodamage on the backs of the hands.

Before proceeding, ensure that you obtain the patient’s consent and provide comprehensive information about indications, contraindications, expected outcomes, precautions, and possible side effects. The treatment area must be healthy, non-inflamed, and properly disinfected before injection.

Administer the product slowly using the correct injection method depending on the area being treated, using fine needles or blunt tip cannulae.

For detailed usage instructions, consult the product leaflet.

Post-Treatment Care

To ensure the best outcome after Stylage L treatment, follow these tips:

    • Do not touch or massage the injection sites
    • Avoid alcohol and coagulants
    • Refrain from using makeup for 24 hours
    • During the first week, avoid hot, spicy, coarse, and salty foods and drinks
    • Use a high SPF sunscreen for two weeks post-treatment
    • For two weeks, avoid saunas, solariums, beaches, and open water
    • Protect the treated areas from intense heat and extreme cold

How Long Does Stylage L Last?

Clients can expect to enjoy smoother, more youthful-looking skin for approximately 12 months following their injections. Hyaluronic acid naturally breaks down over time, but cross-linking technology and the inclusion of mannitol significantly slow this process. For optimal results, administer 1 or 2 treatment sessions to address deep and severe facial wrinkles. Follow up with annual touch-up treatments to sustain the effects.

Potential Side Effects

Stylage filler is generally safe, though side effects can occur, as with any medical procedure. These might include temporary redness, swelling, itching, tenderness or bruising at the injection site. Typically, side effects clear up in about seven days, with no long-term adverse effects observed after one year.

Contraindications for the Treatment

This treatment should not be administered to individuals with:

  • Sensitivity to its ingredients
  • Infections of the skin near the injection site
  • A tendency towards keloid scars
  • Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Documented allergies or anaphylactic incidents
